Chakric Ritual Celebrations
The basic process that we are using in exploring the Chakric Forms and Techniques is additive, although there's no reason that a Circle could not be entirely done in a Chakric manner. When it has been decided that our desire includes further Work with the Chakra Energies in Circle, we Create the Circle thusly: a second concentric Circle is LayedOut around the main Circle we would regularily Constuct. Positions for Seven Equidistant Altars are marked around the circumference of the Outer Circle. The Chakra Altars will be placed, one at each of these markings. Starting in the North with the Mûlâdhara (Base of Spine, Root and Essence) Chakra Altar then Deosil around: at the next position is the Svadisthâna (Sexual and Creation) Chakra Altar, then the Manipûra (Solar Plexus, Personal Strength and Will) Chakra Altar, then the Anahata (Heart, Emotions and Central) Chakra Altar, then the Vishuddha (Throat and Communication Chakra (in some Traditions includes the Palms and Soles of the Feet)) Chakra Altar, then the Ajna (Knowledge and Inspirational) Chakra Altar, then the Sanhasrâra (Enlightenment and Awakening) Chakra Altar. Prior to the Celebration, Members that wish to Claim particular Altars, do so. These Members then prepare and erect the Altars prior to the Circle (The longer period of time allowed in advance of the Circle, the better). All the Celebrants, either immediately prior to the Circle or earlier in the Day, circumambulate the Chakra Altars, stopping at each and Attuning Her/Himself to the Energies represented by that Chakra, concentrating on Balancing such Energies. It is important to Work on Opening Each Chakra incrementally, throughout One's Chakric System, and then go back and open Each One a set amount more. It is not desirable to Open for instance the Heart Chakra fully, while the other Chakras are still very blocked. These Energies Come From and Go To the Cosmos, We benefit by processing them smoothly.
