Month of Shu
Full Moon
Teaching
Teaching: Maa-kheru
This Full Moon in the Month
of Tefnut/Shu we find the moon transiting Sagittarius. Sagittarius
is the teacher. The teaching for this moon is Maa-Kheru. In Egyptian
this means “one who is truth speaking”. This is an intrinsic part of
the mysteries of Ancient Egypt. We must be truth speaking before we
can effectuate anything within or around us. In the Pyramid texts and
various Papyri through out Egypt’s history, the introduction to so many spells
and rituals began with a statement about the necessity that the Magickian
must be Maa-Kheru, or truth speaking. This is an honesty that is difficult
to master. But this is the first step and a support in all Magickal
Werkings.
It evolves from an understanding about Oneself, learning about every aspect
of Oneself from an honest perspective. We are beings that can change
at Will, so finding qualities that do not support our Spiritual Development
is not a bad or shameful thing, but a very common thing. It is an arduous
task that we all have to go through. One can, for any reason, not believe
One can cause positive changes, this only leads to the negative aspects,
that One can not seem to banish, weighing One down. This Moon One should
focus One’s meditations on teaching Oneself to develop a vision of Oneself
from an Honest and Truthful perspective. The Last Full Moon in Libra
the sermon was on the concept of Tekh, which is the witness throughout One’s
life and lives. The Tekh can lead One to an Honest study of Oneself.
In the Heinleinien World this is your Fair Witness. This is someone
who can report events with out any trace of bias or presumption. Perhaps
the other perspectives that were discussed in the last sermon in New Moon
in Gemini would be relevant to help with the Arts of the Maa-Kheru.
