Month of Nefertum

New Moon
New Aries

Beginnings
Teaching: Nek

The New Moon in Aries is the beginning of both the Lunar and the Solar Months of Aries, and the Solar and Lunar years, in this Calendar.  The vibrations and teachings of this month are those of the rushing and budding of gestation and birth.  This can manifest itself in any and every aspect of One’s life.  From a new child or career to a new stage in One’s life.  Or just the development of new talents and hobbies.  Aries New Moon is a time of blessings and wishes, where One can ask for most anything and assuredly receive it.  The Aegyptian word Nek best represents this.  It is the primal thirst for existence, with no other objection then to not be destroyed.  This concept is very raw and primal.  The alphabetic-hieroglyphs that make up the work Nek are N and K.  N is the basic active principle of energy.  Energy in wave form, whatever it be, from water to electricity.  K is the passive container.  The empty vessel ready to be filled.  These two balance in the word Nek as the instant of creation.  The first moment of the existance of something.  For when the first drop of water comes into contact with the vessel, that is the offering bowl, it is no longer passive and empty.  The bowl is now serving the purpose of holding the water.  N also, with it’s properties of wave form Energy, relates to Neith, the Archeress, and the nine of Rods in the Tarot.  Neith throws the arrows of the Love, intent, and initiation.  This is a very potent symbol to meditate on and a great tool to really motivate and instigate new aspects to One’s Life.
