This New Moon in Cancer, we enter the month of Het-Her. Het-Her
is the Netrit whose qualities include, passion, tenderness, mother hood,
sexuality and sensuality. The Egyptians thought of One’s passions and
sense of Aestheticism to be a separate intelligence that was the Sha’Ka’e.
This is the seat of your appreciation of beauty and your passions, both
sexual and emotional. It works closely with your Ka and Mar’rer to
the benefit of the individual. The New Moon in Cancer relates to the
beginnings of Love and emotional understanding. Cancer is the Cardinal
Water sign heralding in the beginning of Summer. It is a sign of emotions
and empathy, and of the Mother and nurturance. This is a time to nurture
new passions for others or Oneself. Indulge in the senses by eating
good food, drinking good wine, bathing slowly and ritually. Of annointing
Oneself in fine oils, and making Love. These are all ways to pay homage
to Het-Her and all that she wants from us. That is to regain a connection
to this plane through, the senses, that we once had millennia ago.
