    The Month of Set begins with the New Moon in Leo.  Set is a Neter whose path of Spiritual Development is a lonely one.  He is a powerful entity that knows his own talents and limits.  His is a dark path that leads either merely laterally or deceitfully downwards.  Set found himself working laterally when he only used his evolution to entertain himself and to marvel others into his worship.  He was not a lamp in the dark to lead us upward on the evolutionary ladder.  Slaying his brother Wser was his inaugural step down the Downward Spiral.  Leo is a brave and proud sign that knows his/her own self worth, and finds pride in all that she/he is and does.
In Egypt the Priest/esshood at times carried the Sekhem Wand as a symbol to show that their actions, while holding the Wand, would be actions under the command of their True Will, with out influence.  This tool was utilized to make very important decisions that could not be doubted, and to perform some of the most Sacred Rituals.  This New Moon one should send their energies to developing a realization of one’s own self worth and confidence.  Take stock of who one truly is and develop one’s own Sekhem Wand to show oneself and the world that one’s Highest Genius is at work.  That the Will of every step one will take is one’s vehicle to developing one’s own ultimate potential perfection.
