Garden of Life, in and of itself, is a non-hierarchical organization. In fact, one of the core ideals of the organization is that any small number of the members (or even one, in drastic circumstances) would be able to hold a Garden of Life Circle and officiate in the necessary functions. That being said, some individuals seem to wish organization of the various levels of Spiritual Self Evolution. One of the Glades of Garden of Life,
, which indeed was preexistent to the formal organization of Garden of Life, does operate utilizing defined levels of Initiation. This chart and the materials linked to it will be from that part of the Tradition. It will take a considerable amount of time to get all this information posted here.
Garden of Life, does entirely assert the position that Conscious Spiritual Evolution occurs within the Individual, and that the most that any Spiritually oriented organization may do is to recognize and encourage such development through Initiations and other such Forms and Techniques.
